Japanese glass manufacturer founded in 1921 in Tokyo by Hiromu Shibata. The only heatproof glass manufacturer in Japan to operate its own factory. Developed its first coffee siphon in 1948 and introduced the V60 dripper in 2005, which became a global reference for pour-over brewing.
