Utropia ("we", "us", "our") operates the Gota mobile application. This page explains how we handle your data.

Information We Collect

Data stored on your device

Gota stores your brew logs, custom recipes, bean library, and preferences locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to our servers.

Crash reports and diagnostics

We use Sentry to collect anonymous crash reports and performance data. No personally identifiable information is included.

Subscription data

If you subscribe to Gota Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status with an anonymous identifier. We do not have access to your payment details.

Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, or phone number
• We do not track your location
• We do not use advertising SDKs or share data with advertisers
• We do not create user profiles for marketing

AI Features

Gota Pro includes AI-powered recipe and bean parsing. Images or text you provide are sent to our server for processing and are not stored afterwards.

Third-Party Services

Data Retention

All user content is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes this data. Crash reports are retained by Sentry for 90 days.

Children's Privacy

Our app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
