The V60 01 is the single-cup version of Hario's iconic pour-over. With a capacity of roughly 200 ml of brewed coffee, it is built for one serving between 10 and 16 g of dry coffee, which makes it a favourite for minimalists, travel kits, and quick morning brews.
Because the bed is small and shallow, the 01 drains faster than its bigger siblings and leaves less margin for error. A grind one notch finer than your usual V60 02 setting is often the easiest correction to extract properly. Aim for a 1:15 to 1:16 ratio, water at 93–96 °C, and a total brew time of 2:00 to 2:45. Keep pours gentle to avoid clogging the single filter hole, and pre-wet the paper generously so the thinner bed sits flat from the start.
The cup signature is the same clarity and transparency the V60 is known for, just in a smaller, more immediate format. It is the right choice when you want a full pour-over ritual without committing to a 4-cup batch.
