Hario Suiren

Light Roast

Hario Suiren Hario others by Hario

Hario's Suiren guidance is tuned here for dense, light-roasted coffee, using hotter water and a finer grind. Its petal-like ribs preserve airflow, helping produce a highly extracted cup with bright fruit, floral detail, and sweetness.

Notes

Use 97°C, preheat the brewer, and begin finer than your usual conical setting. Keep each pulse controlled so the bed remains level; if flow stalls despite the open ribs, reduce agitation before grinding coarser.
