Japanese coffee equipment manufacturer founded in 1958 in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, now headquartered in Yokohama. Known for developing the flat-bottomed three-hole dripper that became a standard in Japanese coffee culture. Introduced the Kalita Wave series, featuring a corrugated steel or glass basket dripper, which gained widespread adoption in specialty coffee.
