Kalita Wave 185

Kalita's guidance is adapted here into a Japanese-style iced brew for the Wave. Hot coffee extracts over a level flat bed before chilling and diluting on ice, aiming for lively aromatics, balanced strength, and a crisp finish.

Notes

Place 150g in the server and distribute the grounds evenly before brewing. Use water at 96°C and grind finer than for the hot recipe so the reduced 220g still extracts 22g sufficiently.
