aoma coffee is a specialty coffee roaster in Honmachi (Semba), a business district of Osaka, run by owner-roaster Hiroshi Aono — previously of EMBANKMENT Coffee. Its approach is deliberately straightforward: nothing forced or overcomplicated, chasing a cup that is clean and expressive but never loud.

Aono-san's brewing philosophy is to grind coarse and extract slowly, keep the method identical every time, and change the flavour mainly through grind size rather than the pour.
