Hario Woodneck

Woodneck Dark Roast

Hario Woodneck Hario others by Hario

This Hario-attributed Woodneck method applies low-temperature nel drip to dark-roasted coffee. Flannel holds back fines while passing oils, building a dense, smooth cup without pushing the harsh bitterness of deeper roasts.

Notes

Use 88°C with a slow, centered pour and minimal disturbance. Keep the cloth clean and fully wetted; if the cup is roasty and astringent, grind coarser, while weak sweetness points toward a slightly finer grind.
