The Timemore B75 is a flat-bottom dripper from Chinese specialty-coffee brand Timemore, better known for their grinders and kettles. The B75 takes the flat-bed concept and adds two design touches that set it apart: a patterned internal wall that prevents the filter from sealing flat, and a tapered drainage profile that gives flow a slight centre bias.
The patterned wall is the key detail. Where a Kalita Wave isolates the filter from the dripper via the wave shape of the filter itself, the B75 achieves the same through the dripper's inner geometry — so you can use standard smooth filters rather than hunting down branded corrugated paper. The cup profile sits close to a Wave — sweet, balanced, even — with slightly faster drawdown thanks to the centre-biased drainage.
A starting recipe: 18 g of coffee to 300 g of water (1:16–1:17), medium grind, water at 93–95 °C, three pours in 3:00 to 3:45. Uses standard Kalita Wave 185 filters or Timemore's own branded papers. The B75 is a strong value pick for a flat-bed daily brewer — Kalita Wave cup profile, looser paper requirements, and usually a friendlier price.
