Timemore is a Chinese specialty coffee equipment brand best known for its grinders (Chestnut C2, C3, Slim) and, increasingly, for its drippers. The Timemore dripper line focuses on accessible design and competitive pricing within the pour-over segment.
Models in this family
- Timemore B75 — conical dripper with internal rib pattern, similar in philosophy to a V60 but with Timemore-specific geometry. Accepts V60-compatible filters.
- Timemore Crystal Eye — glass-bodied dripper with a transparent design that lets you watch the brew. Aesthetically distinctive, functionally similar to a V60.
Both brewers use standard V60-compatible paper filters, so filter supply is never a bottleneck.
How Timemore brewers brew
Because both are V60-adjacent in geometry, they behave like V60s with minor tweaks. The B75's rib pattern is slightly different, shifting flow behaviour marginally. The Crystal Eye's glass body affects thermal mass. Neither is a fundamentally new brewing paradigm — they're refined takes on the conical pour-over with different trade-offs.
What Timemore recipes in this collection share
Recipes follow standard V60 patterns adapted for each device's specific flow. Typical parameter ranges:
- Ratio: 1:14 to 1:17
- Water temperature: 92 to 96 °C
- Grind: medium-fine to medium
- Total brew time: 2:30 to 4:00
Choose a Timemore dripper when you want a V60-compatible brewer at a different price point, when you like the industrial-design aesthetic, or when you're already in the Timemore equipment ecosystem.
