The Cafec Flower Cup 4 is the larger version of the pleated cone, sized for two to four cups and compatible with Cafec's Cup 4-size pleated papers. Same twenty-two pleats, same airflow philosophy, same 60-degree cone — only scaled up for batches between 20 and 35 g of dry coffee.
At this size the Flower's bright, fast-drawdown character becomes easier to control because the bed is deeper and the pour has more room to travel without disturbing the edge. Most Cup 4 Flower recipes use three or four pours rather than the four-to-five common on a V60 03, and the total brew time lands between 3:00 and 4:00. The cup profile tracks the Cup 1: articulate top notes, light body, high clarity.
A reliable recipe: 25 g of coffee to 400 g of water (1:16), medium-fine grind, water at 94–96 °C, four pours in 3:00 to 3:45. As always with the Flower line, the correct pleated filter is non-negotiable. It is the Cafec size for a household where one brewer needs to cover both solo mornings and the occasional shared pot.
