Cafec Deep 45

Base Recipe

Open in app

Cafeshi's baseline is transferred to the Deep 45 with its dose and pouring gesture intact, but a coarser grind offsets the taller bed. It is intended as a neutral first brew for a new coffee, emphasizing balance and easy sensory dialing.

Notes

Use roughly 23 click on a Comandante C40 as an initial setting. Bloom with 50g for 30s, then use two 100g main pours. With Cafec abaca paper and BWT-filtered water, target about 3.42 min total and adjust grind from taste.
