    Pour 50g in the center, then give the dripper a gentle spin.

    Second pour: to 100g. Gentle spin after.

    Third pour: to 220g. Larger pour, gentle spin after.

    Final pour: to 340g. Spin to level the bed.

Notes

Hedrick's streamlined approach uses spins instead of swirls for agitation. The two smaller pours at the start saturate evenly, then two larger pours do the bulk of the extraction. Target finish around 3:00.
