Blue Bottle Coffee nel drip recipe. Coarse grind, low temperature, and a painfully slow first pour for a silky, aromatic cup.

45s SlowPre-heat nel filter with hot water. Add 25g of coarse coffee in a loose mound. Groom with a paddle. Create a small indentation at the top. Pour 45g very slowly around the indentation.

Pause for 20 seconds. Let the bloom settle and gases escape.

60s CircularSecond pour: 80g of water over 60 seconds in a spiraling pattern. Avoid the edges of the filter.

Final pause. Allow remaining water to draw through.
