Notes

Put the ice in your carafe before you start — the hot brew lands directly on it and chills on contact. Because the brew is so concentrated, the melting ice dilutes the cup to normal drinking strength. The Mugen's star-shaped restriction keeps drainage slow enough to fully extract the heavy dose in a single pour, without stalling.
