Six Aggressive Pulses

April Coffee founder Patrik Rolf's personal V60 recipe combines 6 count forceful circular pulses with a coarse grind and 92°C. The agitation extracts sweetness while lower heat protects delicate floral aromatics.

Notes

Make every pulse equally assertive and circular so the coarse bed saturates uniformly, but avoid pouring onto the paper. Water near 90-110ppm supports the intended balance. If the cup is sharp, grind slightly finer before increasing heat.
