Fellow Stagg XF

Dark Roast

Fellow's Stagg XF guide provides this dark-roast treatment, using gentler heat while the brewer's double walls stabilize the slurry. It is designed to draw sweetness and body from soluble coffee without emphasizing bitterness or char.

Notes

Use 90°C as the thermal reference and preheat the brewer so the chosen lower heat remains stable. Grind a little coarser if smoky bitterness persists; for a flat or sour cup, tighten the grind before raising temperature.
