Orea V4 Narrow

WBrC 2024

Martin Wölfl used this OREA V4 Narrow and Sibarist FAST recipe to win the 2024 World Brewers Cup. Diffusing each pour through a Melodrip, with four pours and a larger final addition, it pursued rapid, even drainage and vivid separation from an anaerobic Panamanian Geisha.

  • Melodrip Required

Notes

Use a highly aromatic, very light coffee and keep the early pours precise before the larger final pour. The FAST paper should drain freely; if the bed slows, reduce agitation rather than forcing flow at the kettle.
