Cafec Flower Oval 101 Cafec

Three Pulse

by Onyx Coffee Lab

Onyx Coffee Lab's three-pulse pour-over framework adapted to the Flower Oval 101 — bloom plus three even pulses at 45-second gaps. The flat-bottomed wedge keeps the bed level between pulses, so each one drives the same fresh extraction.

Notes

Three even pulses give a clean, repeatable cup — easy to dial roast by roast. Pour gaps are 45 seconds: long enough for the bed to drain back to the level surface, short enough to keep contact time honest. Use circles wide enough to reach the long edges of the trapezoid; a tight centre pour leaves the corners under-extracted. Medium grind is the sweet spot here — finer choke the single bottom hole, coarser thins the cup.
