George Howell

Pioneer of the US specialty coffee movement and founder of The Coffee Connection (1975), which grew to 23 locations before being sold to Starbucks in 1994. Co-founded the Cup of Excellence program in 1999. Founded George Howell Coffee in 2004, operating multiple cafés in the Boston area.
