    Pour 40g in circular motion. Wait 30 seconds for degassing.

    Pour

    Pour 80g of water in circular motion to 120g.

    To 120g 15s Circular

    Pour

    Pour 60g in circular motion to 180g.

    To 180g 10s Circular
  4. 1:30 04
    Pour

    Pour 60g to 240g.

    To 240g 10s Circular
  5. 2:00 05
    Pour

    Final 60g pour to reach 300g.

    Full drawdown complete.

Notes

Stage 1 optimized for 300-360ml brews. Five pours at 30-second intervals with increasing volume. Uses Kalita wave filters. The flat bottom and adjustable aperture produce a very even extraction.
