Cafec Deep 45
Cafec Deep 45 Cafec by CAFEC

Cafec's recipe for the Deep 45 dripper optimized for medium-dark roasts. Lower temperature prevents bitter extraction from darker roasts. The deep cone shape extends contact time for a full-bodied cup.

Notes

The Cafec Deep 45's steep cone angle creates a deeper coffee bed with longer water contact time. For medium-dark roasts, use lower temperature (90°C) to avoid extracting harsh bitter compounds. The deep shape naturally produces a fuller-bodied cup than shallower drippers. Three large pours keep the method simple.
