The AeroPress Go is the travel-sized version of the original, launched in 2019. Everything nests inside a 237 ml mug with a silicone lid: the chamber, plunger, filter cap, a small scoop, and a stirrer. It is the brewer to throw in a backpack for a weekend trip, a camping stove, or a hotel room with a kettle.
Functionally it works like the classic AeroPress, but with a shorter chamber and a smaller capacity. That changes two things in practice. First, the ceiling for coffee-to-water ratio is lower: most Go recipes top out at around 15 g of coffee to 210 g of water before the chamber is full. Second, the inverted method is trickier because the smaller plunger gives you less stability when flipping — many travelling brewers stick to the standard orientation for that reason.
The cup profile is identical to the full-size: clean, bright, more body than pour-over, very forgiving. Treat your favourite AeroPress recipe as the starting point, scale the dose down proportionally, and you are ready to go.
