Cafec Flower Cup 4

Cafec Flower Cup 4 Cafec

Light Roast

by CAFEC

Cafec's official Flower recipe tuned for light roasts. Hot water plus a finer grind pushes the floral and citric notes that dense light beans hold back.

Notes

96°C is non-negotiable for light roasts on this geometry — drop the temp and clarity collapses. The fine grind only works because the Flower's open ribs keep airflow even — same setting on a V60 03 would stall. Pulse weights step down: 50% → 25% → 25%. Quick agitation across pours keeps fines from clumping. Drawdown lands around 3:30. Anchor pours to the clock; the deep bed makes visual cues unreliable.
