Cafec Flower Cup 1

Dark Roast

Shared through CAFEC-related material for the Flower Cup 1, this dark-roast treatment uses cooler water and gentle pouring to limit harsh extraction. The compact brewer and ventilating ribs shape a smooth, sweet cup with restrained roast character.

Notes

Begin with 88°C and a coarser grind than you would use for light coffee. Pour close to the bed and avoid strong swirls, which can expose bitter roast compounds. If the cup tastes hollow, move slightly finer before adding heat.
