Nel Drip
Nel Drip Traditional by Hario

Hario's material informs this classic Japanese nel preparation, where reusable flannel replaces paper. The method preserves aromatic oils while trapping sediment, aiming for generous body, rounded sweetness, and a clean finish.

Notes

Boil the cloth before its first brew and rinse it thoroughly after every use without detergent. Store it submerged in clean water in the refrigerator, replace that water regularly, and squeeze evenly before brewing so retained water does not dilute the bed.
