    Pour

    Pour all 200g of water. Stir vigorously for 10 seconds.

    Wait

    Place lid with plunger raised. Steep for 4 minutes.

    Press plunger down slowly.

    Done

    Pour hot concentrate directly over 200g of ice in a glass. Stir to chill. Bright, aromatic iced coffee.

Notes

Uses a finer grind and higher dose than standard French press to create a concentrate that withstands ice dilution. The medium grind is intentional for higher extraction in the reduced water volume. Place 200g of ice in a large glass before starting. After pressing, pour the hot concentrate directly over ice for instant flash-chilling that preserves aromatics.
