Method

Pour all 900g of cold water. Stir vigorously to saturate all grounds evenly.

Place lid with plunger pulled up. Refrigerate for 16-20 hours.

Plunge slowly. Transfer concentrate to a sealed jar or pitcher.

Notes
The 1:6 coffee-to-water ratio produces a concentrate. Dilute 1:1 with cold water or milk when serving over ice. Steep in the refrigerator for 16-20 hours for best results. The large French press is ideal for batch cold brew. Concentrate keeps well in the fridge for up to 5 days when stored in a sealed container. Do not leave grounds in contact with liquid after plunging.
