The CT62 is the porcelain cone that made DragonFly Design Centre's name among competitors, designed by Jeff Dayu Shi with Jake Yuan Cheng Hu of Taiwan's Taster's Coffee and recognised with a German Design Award in 2023. This is the size-01 model: one to two cups, about 113 mm across and 69 mm tall, with a 62° wall a little steeper than a V60's, taking V60 01 or 02 and HIFLUX V01 papers. Its outside follows the "Shanwen" mountain-patterned armour of the Tang dynasty.
Inside are twelve long grooves, twelve short ones and a circular groove near the outlet. DragonFly and Taster's say they keep the flow quick and even and stop the bed clogging late in the brew; reviewers such as Tomoya find it takes five pours 30 seconds apart without stalling.
On its own it is a fast percolation cone. Since August 2026 the 01 comes in a foot-ring version (220 ml, DragonFly's figure) that sits on the Conical Transit Base, whose knob closes the outlet for immersion and opens it to drain. The DS62 (dragon scale) and CC62 (caisson) editions share the same interior and differ only on the outside.
