Cafec Flower Cup 1

Cafec Flower Cup 1 Cafec

Strong 1:15

by CAFEC

Belco's three-pour 1:15 recipe scaled to the Cup 1. The denser ratio brings out caramel and body, where the open Flower ribs prevent the finer extraction from stalling.

Notes

Three pours, every 60 seconds — 36g bloom, then 54g, then 90g. Anchor to the clock, not the bed. 93°C keeps the body forward without burning the chocolate notes. A medium grind (one click finer than your usual V60 medium) suits the 1:15 ratio on Flower ribs. Drawdown lands around 3:00. If it stalls past 3:30, the grind is too fine for the dose.
