    Wait

    Blind-press hot water through the cap to preheat and rinse the brewer.

  2. 0:00 02
    Pour

    Inverted: add coffee, then very slowly pour 270g of 82°C water over 30 seconds while rotating the base.

    Wait

    Cap with the rinsed paper filter and wait 60 seconds.

  4. 1:30 04
    Press

    Press very slowly for 60 seconds; stop just before the hiss.

  5. 2:30 05
    Done

    Serve.

Notes

Single rinsed paper filter. Pour through a stainless-steel cup with a funnel for control; rotate the base of the AeroPress while pouring. Stop the press just before you hear the hiss.
