    Pour slowly to 40g, wetting the whole bed evenly.

    +40g→ 40g Spiral 10s
  2. Pour 2 / 4

    Add water in a slow spiral to 100g.

    +60g→ 100g Spiral 15s
  3. Pour 3 / 4

    Add the final brew water in a slow spiral to 150g.

    +50g→ 150g Spiral 10s

    Add 50g ice, stir until chilled, and serve.

Notes

Use the Slow screen. Kurasu keeps the grind the same as the hot recipe and lets the slower screen add body and sweetness for the iced version. Brew without ice in the server, then add 50g ice after drawdown. This preserves the hot recipe's profile instead of forcing a much finer iced grind. Use Kalita Wave 185 paper. Pour the same center-out-center spiral as the hot recipe, but stop the final pour earlier.
