OXO Brew Rapid Brewer

Cold Concentrate

OXO's official Rapid Brewer cold-concentrate method replaces an overnight steep with fine grinding, a heavy dose, brief immersion, and manual pressure. It produces a compact cold-brew base intended for dilution over ice with water or milk.

Notes

Use cold or room-temperature water and keep the grind fine enough for the press to meet controlled resistance. A hollow concentrate usually needs a finer grind; harshness calls for coarser grounds. Dilute before judging strength, then pour over ample ice.
