Open in appJonathan Gagné's Pulsar Mini recipe keeps the valve open and the water column exceptionally low through many small center pours. Shared by NextLevel, it uses gentle hydraulic pressure and a long ratio to produce a clean, transparent cup.

- 1 Fit a dry filter, insert the barrel and close the valve.
- 2 Add 15g of coffee and level the bed.
- 3 Fit the dispersion cap, then tare the scale.

Open the valve.
Valve: Open -
Bloom 2 / 70:0312s
Pour in the centre to 45g.
+45g→ 45g Center pour 5.6g/s 8s Valve: Open 98°C -
Prepare 3 / 70:157s
Close the valve as soon as the first drops appear.
Valve: Closed -
Swirl 4 / 70:228s
Swirl gently.
Valve: Closed -
Prepare 5 / 70:305s
Open the valve.
Valve: Open -
Pour 6 / 70:352m58s
Pour in the centre to 255g. Add the water in pulses. Keep the water no more than 1 cm above the coffee bed.

Finish when the coffee stops dripping.
