OREA Negotiator Required

A moulding tool that seats a flat paper filter tightly against the walls of OREA's narrow flat-bottom brewers (V2, V3, V4 Narrow, O1, and the glass/porcelain models), so the paper hugs the walls and forms a low-bypass bed — forcing water through the coffee instead of around it, for higher and more consistent extraction. You press it in to shape the paper, then pull it out before drawdown; it does not restrict flow. Pair with OREA flat paper.

Notes

The recommended starting point for dialling in the O2 — a forgiving pulse recipe on Orea Flat Paper with the Negotiator. Adjust grind and temperature to taste from here. Five gentle spiral pours, each raising the water another 50g. Pour when the water has nearly reached the coffee bed rather than watching the clock. Dense washed coffees finish later; processed coffees run faster. To adapt this recipe for Wave filters, grind a little finer.
