Nel Drip

Dark Roast

Nel Drip Traditional by Gota Team

Designed specifically for dark-roasted coffee, this nel variation uses gentler heat to control roast bitterness. Oil-permeable cloth supports a plush, rounded cup with deep caramel character and a smooth finish without harshness.

Notes

Set the kettle to 88°C and grind slightly coarser if smoky bitterness dominates. Keep agitation low, maintain a narrow central pour, and stop the brew early when the aroma shifts from caramel toward ash or drying cocoa.
