Hario Switch 02
Hario Switch 02 Hario switch by Hario

Hario's classic Switch preparation uses a closed-valve steep followed by a paper-filtered drawdown. It showcases the brewer's core character: immersion consistency, a rounded body, and a cleaner finish than metal-filter brewing.

Notes

Confirm the switch is sealed before adding water and avoid disturbing the cone while it steeps. Open the valve decisively for an even release. Adjust grind for drawdown first, then change steep time to tune body and clarity.
