Chemex 3 Cup

Flash Iced

Chemex 3 Cup Chemex by Chemex

Chemex's method is adapted to a flash-iced brew in the 3-cup model, sending a hot, concentrated extraction straight onto ice. Fast cooling retains fragrance and gives a lively, transparent cold cup with controlled dilution.

Notes

Place 120g in the carafe before brewing and grind finer than for the equivalent hot recipe to offset the smaller volume of brew water. Keep the pour off the filter walls, then swirl thoroughly so meltwater and concentrate reach uniform strength.
