Orea V4 Narrow

OREA's official V4 Narrow pulse recipe uses small, frequent additions to suit the basket's restricted channel. A bloom then four equal 50 g pulses, with a slightly finer grind, extend contact, aiming for rich body and full extraction with FAST paper supporting drainage.

Sibarist WAVE (FAST / B3)

Sibarist FAST keeps flow quick between pulses, so the water level drops back toward the bed and each pour lands on that cue, keeping extraction even in the narrow basket.

Notes

Keep the four pulses after the bloom equal, and let the coffee set the pace: pour each addition as the water level almost reaches the bed rather than holding a fixed clock, so the intervals tighten as the brew progresses. Use FAST paper to reduce flow resistance; if the cup dries out, coarsen before changing pulse size or timing.
