NextLevel Pulsar Mini

Low Column

Jonathan Gagné's Pulsar Mini recipe keeps the valve open and the water column exceptionally low through many small center pours. Shared by NextLevel, it uses gentle hydraulic pressure and a long ratio to produce a clean, transparent cup.

Notes

Use water at 98°C and direct every small addition into the center of the cap. Keep the water less than 1cm above the bed throughout; pour sooner if grounds begin to show, and slow down if the column rises. Coarsen if repeated additions cause the flow to fade.

Grinder

650 µm gap. EG-1 / Lab Sweet reference.
