    Pour

    Add 70g cold water with coffee, cardamom, and sugar.

    Stir

    Stir to dissolve sugar.

    Wait

    Place on low heat. Heat slowly.

    Wait

    Foam rises. Remove from heat briefly.

  5. 3:00
    Done

    Pour carefully. Serve with foam and dates.

Notes

Add a pinch of crushed cardamom with the coffee. Use 2 teaspoons sugar per cup. Heat slowly and pour when foam rises. The cardamom and sugar balance the intense coffee. Serve with dates.
