Notes
Dark roasts extract much faster than light roasts. This recipe uses cooler water (88°C) and coarser grind to slow extraction and prevent bitter, ashy flavors. The shorter 2-minute steep is sufficient for dark roasts. Release at 2:00 for a smooth, chocolatey cup.
