    Pour 60g of water initially.

    +60g 5s Slow

    Pour

    Stir the slurry quickly, then pour the remaining 440g of water. Stir 10 times.

    +500g 20s Slow

    Wait

    Insert plunger. Wait 20 seconds.

  4. 1:20
    Wait

    Press slowly for 30-45 seconds.

  5. 2:00
    Done

    Press complete. Pour into two cups.

Notes

The AeroPress XL can brew 2-4 cups at once. Pour water quickly and stir 10 times for even saturation. Lower temperature prevents bitterness with the larger dose. Plunge slowly for 30-45 seconds.
