Wave Filter — Rogue Wave Single

Origami Air with a Kalita Wave flat-bottom filter for a different extraction profile. The wave filter slows the flow rate and creates a more even, immersion-like brew compared to cone filters.

Notes

Switching from cone to wave filter in the Origami dramatically changes the cup. The flat-bottom filter creates a more even extraction bed and slower drawdown. Use a coarser grind to compensate for the restricted flow. The result has more body and sweetness compared to the brighter cone-filter brew.
