Fellow Stagg XF

Large Batch

Fortuna Coffee's guide adapts Fellow's tall Stagg XF to a large batch. A thorough bloom and sustained slurry depth encourage full extraction across the larger dose, aiming for an ample shared brew with balanced strength, sweetness, and body.

Notes

Use a zigzag bloom to wet the wider dose evenly, then inspect for trapped dry pockets before continuing. Keep later pours away from the filter wall. Large doses usually need a coarser grind; adjust if the finish becomes woody or slow.
