Hario Switch 02

Hario Switch 02 Hario switch

Open Bloom

Bloom with the valve open as a percolation, then close for the main pour and immersion. The early drip pre-wets the bed; the closed phase builds body before drawdown.

Notes

Opening the valve for the bloom lets the first 50g drip through and agitate the grounds. Closing before the main pour holds the rest in immersion until you reopen for drawdown. If the final drawdown stalls, coarsen one click — the closed steep softens the bed and a fine grind can clog once the valve reopens.
