Big Body

NextLevel Pulsar Nextlevel by Harley Unruh

Published by NextLevel as Harley Unruh's Kojo recipe, this Pulsar method pairs a gentle bloom with one slow pour through an open valve, then closes while the bed remains very wet. It targets sweetness, substantial body, and moderate clarity.

Notes

Use 93°C for light roasts and reduce heat slightly for more developed coffee. Pour slowly enough to keep the bed evenly covered, then close the valve while the slurry is still soupy; this retained immersion is key to the recipe's weight and sweetness.

Grinder

700–800 µm average.
