How it brews
The flat-bottom abaca paper Cafec makes for Weber Workshops' Bird brewer. It's cut for the Bird's own proprietary size, so it's brewer-specific and doesn't interchange with Kalita-Wave or other standard flat papers. Weber publishes no fast/medium/slow class for it, so we leave flow unrated — the Bird is generally regarded as a high-flow flat brewer, but that's a property of the system rather than a printed paper rating. It's a specialty item; a pre-brew rinse is the usual habit.
