How it brews
The creped-cellulose paper disc for the current (v2) Tricolate — a brewer-specific flat seat, so it does not interchange with Kalita-Wave or other flat papers. Worth noting the lineage: the original 2017 Tricolate used a metal filter, and the v2 switched to this creped paper disc, so make sure you're matching the paper to the paper-era brewer. Tricolate markets the paper as fast-draining, which suits the Tricolate's full-immersion-then-release method where the paper shouldn't be the bottleneck when the bed drains. It's single-use, and as with any paper a rinse before brewing is the usual habit.
