How it brews
The original wedge filter — Melitta invented the format in 1908 — in the familiar 1x2 (1-4 cup) and 1x4 (4-8 cup) sizes for Melitta and other trapezoid pour-over cones and drip machines. Cheap, ubiquitous, and interchangeable with the Kalita wedge seat. Melitta doesn't publish a comparative flow rating and there's no dependable within-seat ranking, so we leave flow unrated. Fold the crimped seams over in opposite directions before seating so the paper opens flat against the wedge wall.

How it brews
Sibarist's high-permeability abaca paper cut to the trapezoid (wedge) shape for Melitta-style brewers, in S/M/L. It's the same fast, low-clog abaca sheet as the rest of the FAST line, just shaped for a wedge bed rather than a cone — Sibarist positions it as draining faster than a standard wedge paper so you can grind finer without stalling (the maker's own claim, not measured here). It fits the Melitta-wedge seat and interchanges with other wedge papers there. Single-use, with the usual pre-brew rinse.
